Reviews
I just love this place. I always get the chicken sop. With double rice and smothered in sour cream. I always fir get how big rheir dishes are and order to much Good thing their food is good enough to eat a day later. If you are looking for a deal. This place is it.
We went for a drive yesterday, and all roads lead to La Poloma when that happens. While I miss the location on Brice Road, there is something timeless about the original's exterior. We parked and ordered. 15 minute wait for the pickup window. I got a regular sopapilla with beef and cheese. My wife had the chicken and cheese. We got nachos to go. The sopapilla is an experience. Flaky, doughy and delicious. The pickup experience was seamless. The nachos reheated well the next day. Looking forward to coming back once the world gets back to normal.
Love the sopapilla. We usually order to go but the new remodel is lovely. There is much more seating and it's easier to get in when they are busy now.
La Paloma is A- MAY-ZING! No question it is an absolute favorite! My personal favorites is the beef, been and cheese sopaipilla WITH sour cream of course! The Nachos are great as well, simple and very authentic! All of the employees are very kind and courteous. The only draw back at all to La Paloma is their more limited hours of operation. However their authentic Mexican cuisine makes up for their limited schedule. This is a definite must visit!
This place is AMAZING. It is owned by the same people as Sopapilla in Newark. With COVID, this place has been different. You now go to the counter and order. They then bring the food out to you. Get a sopapilla!! They are the best! I love the beef and cheese. This place is known for their sopapillas. They are very quick but can be very busy at times. This place is generally more packed than Sopapilla but also has more seating.
